Atlanta, GA — The Judicial Council of Georgia will meet for a General Session on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Nathan Deal Judicial Center in Atlanta. The meeting will be the final Judicial Council of Georgia General Session chaired by Chief Justice David E. Nahmias. The Council will hear reports from several committees, including ARPA Funding, Budget, Legislation, Judicial Workload Assessment, Technology, Judicial COVID-19 Task Force, and Strategic Plan.
The 28 member Judicial Council of Georgia meets several times a year to act on policy and administrative matters affecting the judiciary. Judges from Georgia’s appellate and trial courts at all levels are represented on the Judicial Council, as well as a representative from the State Bar of Georgia.
