|Judicial Council of Georgia|
The Judicial Council is the policy-making body for Georgia’s judiciary, chaired by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Membership of the Judicial Council consists of twenty-six judges who represent the state’s appellate and trial courts. The Council meets at least four times a year to consider new judgeships, budgetary and legislative matters, and judicial branch programs and policies.
The next meeting of the Judicial Council of Georgia will be on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Carter Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
