2025 Fall CONFERENCE HUB & Annual Business Meeting

"From Vision to Victory: Strategic Planning for Court Leaders”

Hyatt Regency Savannah

Welcome message

Greetings, GCCA Members and Guests J,

Welcome to the Georgia Council of Court Administrators (GCCA) Fall Conference here at the Hyatt Regency Savannah, September 21–24, 2025!

Fresh off the energy of our Spring Conference, we now gather under the banner of “From Vision to Victory: Strategic Planning for Court Leaders.” This theme calls us to move beyond ideas and transform them into lasting results that strengthen Georgia’s courts and communities.

At GCCA, our mission has always been to equip, inspire, and connect court professionals across the state. The Fall Conference continues that legacy by offering a line-up of sessions, speakers, and collaborative opportunities designed to challenge your thinking, sharpen your skills, and fuel your leadership journey. This week is about more than professional development—it’s about harnessing the collective energy of this council to push beyond vision and drive real victories in our courts. Whether through innovative planning strategies, new technologies, or shared best practices, you will leave Savannah with practical tools and renewed inspiration to lead with clarity and confidence.

But remember, GCCA’s impact extends beyond these conferences. We are strongest when our members are engaged. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to join a committee—Education, Communications, or Budget Planning—and bring your unique strengths to the table. Together, we shape not just the future of this council, but the very standard of justice across Georgia.

This gathering also holds special meaning for me as it marks my final conference as your President. Serving GCCA has been one of the greatest honors of my career. I have witnessed firsthand the resilience, innovation, and passion that each of you brings to this profession. While my term concludes, my hope for GCCA’s future burns brighter than ever. I know this council will continue to thrive because its strength has always been in its members—in your willingness to serve, to lead, and to grow together.

Thank you for granting me the privilege to serve you. Let us make this Fall Conference not only a time of learning, but also a celebration of what we have achieved together—and a launching point for the victories yet to come.

With gratitude and excitement for GCCA’s future,

With appreciation,

timothy

Things to do in Savannah Georgia

Older than either Central Park or Prospect Park in New York City, Forsyth Park is a very early expression of the American Public Park Movement, where communities constructed public open spaces as retreats from urban life.

From lively music and theater to riverfront nightlife and historic tours, Savannah offers entertainment that blends Southern charm with unforgettable energy.

Savannah’s food scene blends rich Southern traditions with coastal flavors, offering everything from world-famous fried chicken and fresh seafood to inventive takes on Lowcountry classics.

Explore the city’s rich history and charm through guided walking tours, riverboat cruises, trolley rides, and unforgettable excursions that bring Savannah’s stories to life.

From charming boutiques and art galleries to unique antiques and stylish retailers, Savannah offers a shopping experience as distinctive as the city itself.

With interactive museums, scenic parks, historic tours, and plenty of kid-friendly adventures, Savannah is the perfect destination for families to explore and enjoy together.

Just minutes from downtown, Tybee Island invites visitors to unwind with sandy shores, fresh seafood, outdoor adventures, and the laid-back charm of Savannah’s beach.

General Admission Callaway Gardens tickets include access to the Virginia Hand Callaway Discovery Center, Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center, Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel, Callaway Brothers Azalea Bowl, Robin Lake Beach (open seasonally), our many walking trails, and over 10 miles of our Discover Bicycle Trail.
